Arguments were made between members that the new deal didn't go far. In May of 1935 the supreme court turned down the National Industrial Act. After the Supreme Court had made there final decision Franklin D. Roosevelt had enacted a Second New Deal. The purpose of the second new was for the american people to feel safer.
